Rugby

The English won!!!! The first major sports win for them since Wembley 1966, where they cheated anyway.
After that a bunch of people came to Nelsons Column on Trafalgar Square and sang "Sweet chariot". But it was raining, which was even too much for drunken English, so the parties were continued in the pubs. (These sold 25% more beer than on an average day ---> nearly everybody was drunk yesterday..)

Poor Scots, that was really terrible. Would have liked a Scottish win. Was really sad yesterday. Before the game every scottish goal was supposed to be celebrated (with a shot or a beer), but rules changed during the game. So the Scottish could drink after every Dutch goal and got drunk anyway.
But why did the Turkish lost? Unbelievable...

Mum

Mum has been here for two days. We had good trips, mostly nice weather (just got totally wet once) and actually fun.

Mum, Felix and Dunnotar Castle

Lots of Chinese dishes, chocolate and ice-cream

Dawn at the War Memorial in Stonehaven, nice isn't it

On the next day we went to Edinburgh, a really nice city. The (Tourist) Capital of Scotland with a famous castle, lots of festivals (been at the Tatoo three years ago) and a splendid scenery.

The famous castle, with the Honours (Crown Jewels) of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny, a small piece of stone, but very important to the Scottish.

That's the view from the castle down the royal mile. A cannon on the bottom left, the park and the train station on the left, the sea in the back, a nice hill on the right, churches all over and straight at the end of the mile, the Scottish parliament and Holyrod Palace.
Put my digi on a tripod, took a couple of pics and merged them afterwards.

Scottish Tartan: At first all the necessary wool for the Tartan will be collected....
Link to the different Tartans (They look all the same to me.....)

...and then it will be woven in those old looms.

Farewell at Edinburgh Waverley Station

Blogging again

Changes/Aenderungen

I want to make some changes to this homepage..
1. what's about the language, English, German or both?
2. I want to get rid of the diary and put more other stuff on the blog, like life in Aberdeen and about Scotland.

Besides that: Who has problems to access the page or can't comment. I myself can't access the page quite often. And Sometimes the page works, but you cant comment.

Anything else???
Please comment!!!!

Bitte kommentieren??

Cooking part 1

I made a casserole (Auflauf) for the three of us today. I boiled potatoes, carrots and cauliflower. Garlic, red beans and sweet corns got fried and all that was lumped together with cheese and tomato sauce into one pot and then put into the oven. That was served with salad and we sold that dish as typical german, although it was unique Felix.
We all survived and even our chinese mate liked it (he at least said it) after flavoring his dish with soja sauce....

It's a virgin...

I bought a Virgin Simpack yesterday. So I'm always accessible. But I still don't know if that is working with all providers in Germany. So don't feel beeing insulted if I don't write back to an message I didn' receive.....
Maybe my virgin simcard stays virgin and I'm gonna change that soon if that won't work properly.
